What we did well, and what we need to improve on.

We learn something new in every game, or as a friend of mine used to say, "We RE-learn something old." Here I'll discuss our games and try to recap any lessons taught by the best teacher: experience. I'll also acknowledge especially good efforts.

Basic Tips and Tactics

player types

Rec ball as with speed ball has positions in a team the same is applied to military units now lets start with that in a usual Platoon there is three squads within each squad there is 3 fire-teams and within each fire-team is 4 people. each of the these people has a job relating to the squad

1. Ready / Daggger (aka.) Point man (front man in speed ball)

This player specialties are sneaking up on the enemy lines probing for weakness and watching out for ambushes and snipers, moving light this player wont have the the firepower of some of the other players they rely on stealth and speed for protection. typical load out standard .68 marker 500-1000rnds 1 grenade 1 smoke 1 pistol (opt) 1 radio, the radio is a must have the link to the squad or team leader is a must for coordination of the assault on the opposing forces line a very valuable asset for Intel the dagger is a major reliance in any game.

X-1 Pistolier A dagger who carries only pistols very usefule as runners and very deep in observer's most players will spot a hopper from a 100yrds but wont see the player without the bulk of a regular marker this kind of of player can move faster and quieter that most other players at the sever loss of firepower.

2.Rifle (aka.) Designated marksman (akin to the back player but not in terms of volume of fire)

Snipers everyone wants to be one very few are and while the sniper that sticks with the group may not get the respect of his peer, for lack of a ghillie suit or laying in wait for hrs on end to take one shot they are a very loved by their fellow team members when the moment comes that no one can get a shot at that one guy sitting behind the log raining down paint on their heads. The sniper ( aka DM ) takes him out with a few well placed shots its a great moment. usual load out .68 marker with a good accuracy out to at least 100ft less than 500rnds 1smoke 1 pistol 1 radio again the radio is a must for contact with the leadership element of the unit or the daggers for finding out where the HPT ( high priority target ) is at.

3.Assault (aka) Mid players in speed ball ( Saber in Rec ball )

The light infantry, the paint sponge this player is ready to move fast and shoot allot ready to storm the walls and hold the line this is the first positions that the average player starts in before becoming specialized in it however many players love the position and stick with it an experienced saber is a very valuable player. typical load-out .68marker 1000-1500rnds 2grenades

4.Fire (aka) Back player in speed ball ( broadsword in rec ball )

The man with the plan get out of his way or he will hose u down and paint u green. the fastest firing most paint slinginist player's that lay down the suppressive fire letting the rest of the team do their work they stay in the back until the action dies down not the fastest of the players he brings law and order to a fight standard load out .68marker 1500-2000rnds 3-4grenades

5. Heavy Gunner (aka) HAMMER

THE GOD OF WAR a one man walking wall of paint. Known as a mobile gunner they have more firepower than a three man speed ball team. Using either dual guns with ramping or something akin to the double trouble the are unstoppable. standard load out 2x .68marker 2000-3000+rnds...WHAT MORE DO U NEED!!!
